Local Delivery

Our local delivery option is fitted for those that live around our location! If you live in and around Harlem or the Upper East side, you may be eligible for location delivery. Click here to order!

Shipping

If you live outside the area previously mentioned, you may eligible for our 2 day shipping option! Currently, we are shipping to addresses within NY, NJ, CT, and PA!!

If you outside those states and are looking to purchase desserts, please send a message! We'll do our absolute best to get HBCo jars of happiness to you!

Every item on Harlem Baking Company is handmade, packed, and shipped specific to that item’s needs to ensure our desserts arrive fresh and delicious at your door.

You can read the Instructions/Storage section on each product page to find out whether the desserts you've chosen require prep (ie. microwave for x seconds) or are ready to enjoy upon delivery. If you have additional questions about a specific product, contact us at charlesd@harlembakingco.com!

Yes, you must purchase a minimum of 6 desserts in order to have them ship within our current shipping zone. We are currently shipping with a flat rate of $10.

For every 5 empty HBCo jars you return to us, get one jar of happiness of your choosing for FREE! Drop them off at our physical location inside Lexington Pizza Parlour on 101st and Lexington Ave.

Products on Harlem Baking Company are handmade by our staff in New York City and ship to select locations in the Northeast United States. 

Due to the nature of what we do here at Harlem Baking Company, our focus will never be on a large operation producing thousands of products to sit in a distribution facility. We make our products fresh directly at our shops and prepare them for shipment. This gives us the ability to guarantee our customers always receive fresh products.

Delivery may vary based on unforseen events such as weather or holidays. This information can all be found at checkout, after you enter your shipping address.

We don't require a signature for delivery on most of our packages. That said, we do recommend opening your package soon after delivery to properly store any items that require refrigeration. Harlem Baking Co. is not responsible for packages reported damaged due to a delay in opening and/or not properly storing the package’s contents upon delivery.

It is at the discretion of the driver to ring the doorbell upon delivery, and due to COVID-19, additional precautions are being taken for the safety of both parties. 

If your order is delivering to an office or communal living space, carriers may deliver the package to your front desk or mailroom. If the driver feels it is safe to leave the package, then they will do so. We are not responsible for missed deliveries, sometimes resulting in a damaged product because no one was home and the driver felt it was unsafe to leave it.

Once your package is in the shipping carrier's hands we have no control over the time they will deliver it. But, the good news is that FedEx gives you the ability to schedule your delivery times for all of your residential packages.

If you know that you are not going to be home and are worried about them not leaving your package at your door, we strongly encourage you to schedule your delivery window directly with FedEx or UPS. Their Delivery Manager platforms are flexible and allow you to schedule the delivery of your package within a short time-frame to ensure you will never miss a package at your home again. Once you receive your tracking email from us letting you know that your package has shipped, go to one of the below links to schedule a delivery time or a pick-up location/time that works for you:

We are currently shipping with a flat rate of $10 for any order amount. Note that this policy may change in the future.

Unfortunately we're not able to ship to P.O. or APO boxes at this time, due to the perishable nature of our products.
